Films have been an integral part of the Ladek Mountain Festival from the very beginning, captivating audiences for 30 years. The event was initially called the Mountain Film Review, already highlighting the significance of cinematic records of expeditions, emotions and challenges. Today the Film Competition is one of the main axes of the festival, surprising us each year with a wealth of stories and diverse perspectives on the mountains.
On January 20 we start a new chapter – submissions for the Film Competition 2025 are now open! This is a unique opportunity for filmmakers from around the world to showcase their work to the audience and to the jury who will enjoy and evaluate the films during our September event.

2025 Film Competition Timeline:
1️⃣ January 20 – April 30, 2025 Submission period.
2️⃣ May 31, 2025 Notification of accepted films.
3️⃣ September 4–7, 2025 Screenings at the Ladek Mountain Festival in Lądek-Zdrój and the announcement of the winners at the Awards Ceremony.
4️⃣ September 4–30, 2025: Online screenings on filmygorskie.pl.
